Anorexia Nervosa

Anorexia Nervosa is an eating disorder that causes people to be obsessed about their weight, how they look on the outside, and the food they eat.  People with this eating disorder attempt to manage a weight that’s far below normal for their weight and height.  To prevent not gaining any weight, people with anorexia nervosa tend to starve themselves and exercise excessively.

This disorder isn’t necessarily about food though.  It’s really an unhealthy way to try and  cope with emotional problems.  With the disorder anorexia nervosa, you usually have self-worth plus oftenly thinness.

Anorexia Nervosa symptoms may include constantly hiding your habits, becoming increasingly pre-occupied with how much you weigh, and how you look in the mirror.  Dramatic weight loss is a big one for this disorder.

Anorexia Nervosa can be very hard to overcome.  When you have the treatment though, you get a better sense of who you are, and return back to the normal, healthier eating habits and reverse (change) some of the disorders serious issues it would cause you.
